The Comet

Starlight Lanterns' Comet is a fabulous fixture. The base is punctured metal and is illuminated by a string of mini-lights. It is completely electric! The plastic globe has a UV additive to keep the plastic from becoming yellow and brittle. The texture on the inside of the globe creates a swirling effect from the mini-lights that are inside. The Prism globe is attached to the top of the base with a bracket. The Comet has a removable stake at the bottom, so that with the stake it can be used on soft grassy surfaces or it can be used without the stake on hard surfaces like a deck or patio. As you move around the Comet, the lights appear to twinkle as they shine through the punctured metal base. The metal is powder-coated to resist rust and the globe can withstand extreme temperatures from 194 degrees F to -4 degrees F.
